My new pets...What we have here are a pair of Discus fishes (was not sure of Discuses - probably not a valid word, though it seemed to have passed spelling check), and yes... I finally decided to buy them after having stopped myself from getting these fish types for a very long time.
These fishes have a reputation of being really sensitive with their environment, so I was thinking that they would be more trouble than they're worth looking at... not to mention they do cost more than your average fishes that I would get.
Still, when I saw these, I thought to myself - now's a time as good as any... so I bought these two. Now if they prove stable, I might get another pair - after all, they do look good.
